Customer Accessibility Requirements

Hello, I offer classes/workshops in my studio but we have an upstairs and ground floor level, with only a staircase, and no elevator.

I’d like to be able to ask:

”What, if any, accessibility accommodations can we provide to support you? (ie. mobility, vision, hearing, anxiety, etc.)”

The characters are too many for a modified field, but I feel like this is something I should be able to collect from my clients.

Thank you.

Hi @makestudio Thanks for posting!

Can you clarify where you are trying to add this content? Is it on a form within your Square Online website, or are you setting up a different Square product/service?

Thanks in advance! 😊

I was trying to add this as a modification to an item. I don’t use the square online website because I have Squarespace, I only use checkout link.

I don’t know where else I can add this besides a modification.

Oh, gotcha. You can add modifiers from the Square dashboard, and the Square Online dashboard for Checkout Links, however, I'm assuming the character limit would be the same.

I'm going to have to take another look at the possible options for checkout links, and I'll ask some teammates if they have any suggestions.

Was the character issue coming into play for "What, if any, accessibility accommodations can we provide to support you?" as the title of the modifier? Maybe it can be re-worded to include less characters. Then you could use the check box field to list "mobility, vision, hearing, anxiety, and other" as the options.

I'll follow up with you once I track down what the actual limit is. 😊
