We are offering a special fathers day meal but only want to make it available for pick up on Saturday. Is there a way I can do that in the order process? Currently I only see Default, and x # of business days. Saturday is not traditionally considered a business day so this is pretty frustrating. Why not have a custom option with a pop up date I can choose to lock in one day for pick up? Am I missing something?

I struggle with the same problem. You would think that with all Square does, a little calendar wouldn't fry anyone's brain to add. It's beyond frustrating.
I leave a note in the section you set your schedule... And I let clients know how dumb Square can be sometimes.

Thanks for the tip. I will look into adding that. This is dumb. Seems like this would be a big enough issue for people that it would have been addressed by now.

Make our lives easier during these difficult times!
How hard is it for you to add a little calendar to the Store so we can pick an exact date clients can do a pick-up? Not 3 days, not 5 days, I want to be able to schedule something for pick-up on July 35th, 2020 at 5pm.
This is a major frustration I have and the reason I don't sell more through the Store. Several fellow business owners experience the same.
You guys have amazing features, how hard can a little calendar be to add?

I agree, we need the option to create a pick up date, allowing us to set a timeframe of hours for item pick up. For example, we did a fresh turkey sale fundraiser, the promotion ran for almost 2 months, and the pick up date was the Friday before Thanksgiving from 2:30 to 6 pm... However, Square did not allow us to set that specific date and time.
Now, we're doing a Big Football Game wing/pizza fundraiser, with the same problem. We're offering pick up from noon to 5 pm on Feb 7th... however, Square does not allow us to set a specified pick up date and time.
This needs to be changed to be a more useful tool. Otherwise, we may have to change platforms, and find another online sale type of solution. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
I feel that we're just not getting listened to by Square.... sad

After requesting this for over a year, abs more frequently during the pandemic, we are setting up a new online store through a different system. I love Square and can't wrap my mind around as to why they have not addressed this yet. A simple calendar is not that hard to squeeze in there given other features offered. I've lost hope and Square will lose on half of my processing in a few weeks and everything will be listed on a different platform. The amount of confusion it creates with the clients when they get notifications their order will be ready when in fact it won't is not worth my time anymore. I've grown tired of calling Square stupid.

This is an ongoing problem for us as well. We have specific dates when our office is staffed and pick-up is available. Right now our team is pretzeling their schedules to conform to Square limitations. That's ridiculous. We should be able to set dates available for pickup and the customer could set their pick-up time within those limitations. Very frustrating.

Has anyone heard from Square on this yet? we have a tree and plant sale with very limited pick up dates/times coming up. i would like to use square for this, but these limitations, as mentioned by others, my cause me to change platforms.
