Coupon not working for whole category, only one item.

I did marketing campaign and released a coupon that should work for the whole category, but it is only taking it off of one item in that category.

 

How do we fix this?  This has happened for two months in a row now.

 

Here is a transaction for an example

 

5 Shirts - $7.50 Category 1 (No Discount)

3 Ties - $10.50 Category 2 (Should have discount)

1 Tie - $3.50 Category 2 (Should have discount)

1 Suit - $9.99 Category 2 (Should have discount)

 

The coupon code we used only took 52 cents off, it should be $3.59

 

15% off $10.50 is $1.57

15% off  $3.50 is .52 (the promo only worked on this)

15% off $9.99 is $1.50

 

I need it to work on the whole transaction instead of going back into it and marking down each item separately.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, @CashsCleaners.

 

I tested this out on my account and ran it past some people here to confirm that this how it currently functions. At least for the time being, the discounts offered through your campaign will only apply to a single item (the first one added to the sale).

 

I actually expected it apply to all items in the category as well, so agree with you that it's not ideal. In any case, I've raised the issue with the team the manages Marketing. I'll update here if this changes in the future. Thanks again!
