I don't want all of the item sales to print out on the daily sales report that is printed from the ipads at the POS. Is this possible? Thanks.

Yes - it is totally possible to print a report like this from the Point of Sale app on the iPad. 📲
Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom left corner (you may see a blue number if you have notifications).
- Tap Reports
- Tap Sales
- Tap the three horizontal lines at the top to access in-app report settings
- Toggle Show Items Details on or off
- Select a date or date range
- Tap Apply
- Tap the printer icon 🖨 at the upper right to print
This will print a sales summary with category details without the item list.
PS) If this answer solved your problem, would you mind marking it as "Best Answer"? That'll help the rest of the community find what they're looking for. If not, just post again here, and we'll continue to help. Thanks!

This is perfect. It looks like the "show items" toggle switch stays that way unless you change it back. Thanks!

I'm so very frustrated with the Restaurant version. I have lost the ability to see the Sales Report for the last 3 days since I enrolled in the Restaurant version.
My sales for these days says $0.00.... where did my sales go???

Hi @Xocol857,
Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear about the hassle! If you're running Square for Restaurants on an iPad, you can still keep the Point of Sale app too, where your reports will be in the format you're used to already. That being said, it definitely seems odd that you're not able to view any sales via Square for Restaurants. Are you signed in with team permissions, or a staff member profile that might not have access to reports, for example? Feel free to share any screenshots with us here, too.
