Can I pay my salaried employees through Square?

I am new to square and I am setting up my new account.  I am the only employee for my company and I pay myself a salary.  When I got to the "Add employee" section, it only allows me to set an hourly rate.  How do I change to salary?

When using Square Payroll, salary employees will always be converted to an hourly rate.

You would need to manually adjust your reports to account for this, @ajs420
 

For additional context:

The annual salary you enter is automatically translated into an hourly rate based off of the total amount of hours worked in a given week. Full-time biweekly salaried employees are generally paid 80 hours each payday, while semimonthly employees receive 86.67 hours. Specifically, full-time salaried employees are compensated for 2,080 work hours yearly.

 

As an employer, to arrive at the hours for a biweekly employee, divide 2,080 by 26 pay periods.

To arrive at the hours for a semi-monthly employee, divide 2,080 by 24 pay periods.

You can pay salaried employees by calculating your employee’s (or yours in this case) hourly rate through an hourly rate calculator. Based on a typical 2080 hour work year, salaried employees work 40 hours per week, 80 hours every two weeks, and 86.67 hours per semi-monthly pay period (half-month).

Hi, I followed that link and set things up but it is still paying my employee by the hour. I want them to get paid the same amount regardless of how many hours they work. To me, that's what it means to be salaried, and your system defeats the whole point.

To pay salaried employees, you must provide the annual salary and average weekly hours, @ReeseG. Salaried employees will have their pay automatically calculated each pay period. I have my assistant manager set as a Salaried Employee.  When I run a labor cost report, it is showing her wages (when worked over 40) as an hourly rate.  How do I fix this?  It is skewing my labor cost report.
