Can I edit customer information after a transaction has been processed?
The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Wrong Customer Added to Sale and sent the receipt
I added the wrong customer to a sale and that customer got the receipt for the transaction. How can I fix that without refunding and re-ringing the sale. I know I can send the receipt to the correct customer but I want to make sure I am keeping track of the sales they made.

No worries - you should be able to correct the customer info attached to a transaction, @thebrainlair!
All you need to do is head over to the Transactions page of your Square Dashboard. From here, locate the transaction in question and select it. A sidebar menu will pop out from the right-hand side when you do so. In the top right-hand corner of this sidebar menu, you'll see a few options:
You'll want to click on the three dots here, and select Edit Customer - from here, you can remove the customer and/or edit the information on this screen. This should help - please let us know if it doesn't!
