Booking appointments- Accessing Client's site

Hi,

I would appreciate your assistance on the following:

I have a client for whom we are going to set up appointments on his website. I just instructed them to make me a team member and joined their account but when I click on 'Appointments' it appears a page that requests to start a marketplace as 'Team' or as 'His business'. When I click on either of them, it redirects me back to the home dashboard, What seems to be the problem, why don't I get access to the usual appointments' page? Is it maybe that they have not given me the right permeations to access their appointments?

Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know @vission_arch

It sounds like the client is using Appointments for Individuals, is that right? If that is the case, then only the account holder/admin would be able to set up and manage appointments.

For you to help create the appointments on his behalf, he'd need to upgrade the Appointments subscription to the one for 2-5 staffs.

Hey @vission_arch!

Great question. Square Appointments is a bit different. In addition to granting you access using Team, they will also need to create a staff profile for you to view the calendar and make adjustments.

If I understand the issue correctly, this should work! Let me know if not 👩🏼‍💻

Hi @isabelle !

They have tried and given me full permissions access, and created staff profile. Now when I click on Appointments, a page with a table appears that requires: business name, phone number and location. I enter the phone number and a message appears that 'Only admins can edit appointments', and does not move forward from there.

What may be the problem? 🙄🤔

Thank you for your assistance.  🙂

Hey @vission_arch, I'm just stepping in for Isabelle here!

If you've been given full permission access but are still unable to edit appointments, there might be some account specific settings we need to check like Appointments subscriptions, etc. In this case, the best thing to do here would be to flag this through the partner portal in Salesforce.

Hey @tranguyen thank you for your reply.

He has a free account and I will only be setting up appointments and he will manage them by himself.

What would be the next steps?

Thanks!
