Accounting for money paid in/out of the safe
I am trying to figure out a good system for keeping up with the money that is paid in and paid out from our safe during the work day. There is not a manager on site during most hours so employees pay in and pay out change or large bills as needed. I can see what is being paid in and paid out beacuse of the cash drawer reports. But is there a way I can track what should be in the safe vs what may be in there?
So if I deposit 637 in bills and coins into our safe for employees to put into the register at the end of the day I would like to be able to pull up what should be in there instead of counting it manually and rifling through the cash drawer report.
Ideas?

@Jacks143 Hmm great question! One workaround I can think of is to add the amount that you deposit to the safe as the cash drawer description:
- Tap the three lines in the upper left > tap Reports.
- Tap Cash Drawer > tap Current Drawer or start a drawer to enter a description.
That description will appear in the Drawer History section of the app, and it will be visible in the Cash Drawer report from your online Square Dashboard. Then at the end of the day you would be able to see what was in the safe and the cash drawer details below that.
