Name it your way: What would you call this new Square for Restaurants feature?
Hi sellers ๐!
We are considering a feature that would allow you to decide when to enable specific features on your devices. During an introductory period, youโd be able to see more information about the feature and enable it when it is most convenient for you and your staff. The objective is to give you and your staff time to learn about a feature so that you can enable it on your devices at the most appropriate time. This will only be available for some of our largest feature launches.
We are considering the following names for this feature and weโd love to hear from you about which name fits best:
- Update Manager
- Feature Manager
- Release Manager
- Update Guide
- Change Guide
- New Feature Guide
- Release Guide
- Release Notes
- Update Notes
Thanks!

@lucasisaza I am gonna go off the reservation here and say
"Feature Onboarding" or as a 2nd choice "Feature Orientation" I think onboarding describes exactly what you are doing with the feature.
Feature manager would be #1 choice if I can "only" choose from the least.

Do you want to have great restaurant menus that are easy to edit and don't cost a fortune? I use MustHaveMenus and you can too!
MustHaveMenus
Great point, since we are focused on introducing features it might be good to include that somewhere in the name instead of using something like "Manager".
I don't use any Restaurant features for my retail store, but if I can vote...I'd pick Feature Manager...or something "off the menu" (is that a pun LOL?) how about Feature Upgrade Manager ?

Off the menu is interesting! Thanks
If I understand correctly this is for transitioning new features. Ie, during a transition phase those features can be rolled out but will ultimately be part of the core offering. I think this needs to be evident in the naming otherwise you'll get stream of folks confused as to why they don't see the incorporated features in the menu once they are incorporated.
Perhaps 'New Feature Manager' or 'Feature Change Control' (which implies a change in product behaviour)

Square Meals
How about "SquareTable"? It's a play on words that combines the idea of a table in a restaurant (where people gather to share a meal and make memories) with the functionality of Square's technology for processing payments and managing orders........

I think "Feature Manager" and "Release Guide" are both good options for the proposed feature, as they accurately convey the idea of managing and enabling new features at a convenient time for the seller and their staff.

I like Update Guide or Feature Guide.
Even "Feature Glossary" would be great to have; I imagine this being a bank of all of the different features built into each Square plan.
