How did you come up with the name of your business? Is there a story behind it? Have you ever thought of changing it?

I just opened a dog daycare and we named it Molly & Friends. I named my first dog, as a grown up, Molly and I loved her fiercely. She was an amazing companion through all of life's ups and downs. When she passed, I knew I'd have other dogs but there would never be another Molly. It felt like a good way to honor her. www.mollyandfriends.net
I decided to take all my kids middle initials and put them together. (JARM)

We are a mobile restaurant and didn't want to get stuck with anyone kind of cuisine, so we went with Street Chefs. A really good friend of mine that is a graphic artist designed our logo- the hubcap is a plate ๐
What a striking logo and tagline. Love it. Thanks for sharing @streetchefs โจ
Biz name makes total sense for a mobile restaurant.
My last name is Moore, and the age old saying "more power to ya", gives Moore Power. I thought I was pretty creative given I'm an residential electrical company. (www.Powermoore.com)
My name is Jacqueline and I go by Jacki. My future son in law showed me his corn hole bags (outrageously priced) and I wanted a unique name for them...Jack Bags...sounded good and stuck with me.
I had gone through 3 names but settled with a name that basically describes my products, Immune 8 is a blend of 8 essential oils that boost the immune system, fights germs, and helps with stress levels. The logo is a shield that shows the protection that is offered when using my products. Thank you for asking and let me know your ideas.
well majestic the meaning is having inpresive beauty or dignity so i know my mother was single mom n showed me morals n is what i live by n treasures because it offers a little it of everything housekeeper to baby sitter to yard work to translating form various tasks
I came up with the name AndrogynousArt on Etsy because 1) I am a Queer, Nonbinary artist (pretty obvious), 2) because I believe in creating art that anyone can enjoy and feel happiness from, and 3) I am a sucker for alliteration.
I don't believe jewelry is a female/feminine only thing, I believe that everyone should be able to express themselves through what they wear, and feel free to be as expressive as the art they wear. Androgynous means both masculine and feminine when it comes to gender. But when it comes to Art I think it speaks more on the idea that all stories should be told and that anyone can be an artist or enjoy art. And that is what I strive to use my art for. To tell and uplift the stories of people that may not be heard, to create pieces that no one would think of, and celebrate beauty and the human experience through creation.
My logo is one of my favorite pictures I ever took during Pride month back in 2018. I digitally painted it and added some neon accents because I LOVE a good neon sign. And added both the male and female symbols to show my gender identity and play on the idea of being between masculine and feminine. Also the crowns are a homage to my Senior Quote in high school: "I was born a boy by chance, but by choice I'm a queen, leaving a trail of glitter for the world to see". I just wanted it to emulate my essence as a person and an artist. โค๏ธ

Totally agree that we should all feel free and empowered to be expressive with the art we choose to wear!

Well, my company is Grilling Geek Spices. For years I have worked in the IT industry, and I also love to grill. So my name is the combination of two of my passions. My friends started to call me the Grilling Geek after they saw, and tasted, how good my food is. Eventually, I am hoping to expand out from just spices to marinades, and other ventures.
Two fantastic passions. Would be interested to see what you decided for your logo @GrillingGeek - feel free to reply with it.
Thanks for sharing your story ๐ โจ
So being that I'm from Texas, I wanted to highlight that more. You can check us out at www.grillinggeekspices.com
I was always inspired by my children. Than when I was expecting my 4 child trying to come up with a name for her, and I was riding in the car and my 1 year old at the time was asking me over and over again what project we was going to make? He asked about 10 time until I was like WHAT!!! What you want to create? Than 2 names was created in one day W.H.A.T Creations LLC was created and also Amira (the 4th child) name. I choses that because it all of my children initials and we love to create
I was literally just staring at my wall thinking about what creative name I could come up with, but then I realized that "Blue Wall Bakery" had a nice ring to it, literally just gotten from staring at my blue walls
