We heard you and made improvements to shift coverage. Square Shifts, Square Staff for Crew Legacy Sellers, and Appointments Premium (which includes Square Shifts) now supports shift covers, which provides teams the flexibility to adjust their schedules without needing to take a shift in return via a shift trade.
In the Square Team App, a team member can initiate a cover request for a shift they can no longer work. Eligible team members receive a request notification and can accept the shift, which is reviewed and approved by a manager on Dashboard. This new feature is available to 100% of sellers in all markets.
This feature will be available with a Shifts Plus, Square Staff for Crew Legacy customers, or Appointments Premium subscription only.
