Hey everybody, we're back once again with more updates to Square Online!
Multiple email addresses for order notifications
Get your orders to the right people, like your fulfillment center manager or back-office staff, all while remaining in the loop. You can now specify up to 3 different recipients for order notification emails.
Or, if you’re a high-volume quick-service business and don’t want to be bombarded with emails for every order, you can disable them altogether.
Head to Site Settings > Notifications from your Square Online dashboard to update your order notification email settings.
Get listed in Google Product Listings
Display the payment methods you accept in your site’s footer by enabling a single toggle. Head to the site editor and edit your footer to enable the Payment methods option.
If you don't see the Payment methods toggle in your footer in the site editor, you might need to select Customize and choose a different footer layout. There is one footer layout that does not include the option to display payment methods.
The payment methods that you’ve set in your Checkout settings for Square Online will automatically appear.
Displaying accepted payment methods in your footer is a prerequisite for listing in Google Product Listings. Google Product Listings allows you to share your item catalog across multiple Google surfaces including Google Search and Google Shopping, giving you access to more potential customers. Omnichannel shipping
Print labels and manage shipping for all your sales channels from your Square Dashboard or Point of Sale. You’re now able to generate a UPS shipping label for any order, whether that’s Square Online, a manually-entered order on your POS, or even from a third party where you’re processing with Square.
Head to Orders on your Square Dashboard to start printing labels, or view orders on your Point of Sale to print from there.
NOTE: If you’ve never used UPS to ship online orders before, you will need to either create an account with UPS or connect an existing one to your Square Online account. Get started at Fulfillment > Shipping in your Square Online Dashboard or check out our Support article for more details on connecting shipping carriers.
Single-use coupons
You can now limit coupons to 1 per customer for all coupon types. Enable the Limit coupon per customer toggle to set a usage limit for $ discount, % discount, free shipping, or free delivery coupons.
Head to your coupon settings to create a single-use coupon.
We hope you enjoy these updates, and we’re excited to bring you more in the coming months!
