We’re excited to announce Square for Retail’s improved process for unit costs! You’re now able to import & export unit costs using the Item Library import/export feature and set a default cost -- even when there is no inventory on hand. Features include:
- Items import includes a unit cost column-- never use a separate import file for unit cost again!
- Export your cost. Have more than one cost and multiple vendors? You can select your default in dashboard, and this cost will be exported and edited on import.
- Default costs will be pre-populated when you receive stock through dashboard.
- Unit cost will appear in dashboard with new cost column in the Item Library.
