Point of Sale - totalise weight of goods

We receive book orders by email, which are then entered on Point of Sale and the invoice sent out.

Can I upload the book weights (via bulk "import library" as there are 100s) and get the weight totalled up?

Or better, the P&P calculated, as the website does?

Hey @WillWindham , welcome to the Seller Community!

There isn't a way to enter the weight of each item in the item inventory at this time. But I can see why this feature would be beneficial to you and your business. I've gone ahead and passed it over to our product development team and hopefully, this is something we could integrate sometime in the future. 

Alternatively, we do facilitate selling items by a specific unit. You can set this up by doing the following:

1. Go to your Square Dashboard and click on Items.
2. In your item library, click create an item.
3. Under unit select the appropriate unit (e.g. lbs)
4. Enter the price per unit.
5. Click Save.

Once that is set up, all you need to do is enter the weight of each item and the total amount will be calculated at checkout.
