Loyalty signup page logo

Trying to figure out why our logo on our loyalty signup link page isn't sizing correctly.

I'm assuming the logo used is bring pulled from the dashboard accounts setting under recipts where you can add a logo both full width and cropped? However when we change or delete the logos here, the logo on the loyalty signup page stays the same.

Any ideas what we are doing wrong? Is this correct location where its pulling the logo from or should I be looking else where in the system?

Hey @doc_choc, thanks for your post!

Could you send over a screenshot of what your Logo looks like on the Loyalty Sign-up page? This will help me further in my investigation. Thanks.

Here is the link to the loyalty signup

https://squareup.com/customer-programs/enroll/p3VZMSRQH98P/loyalty

We have two logos in the accounts and settings under receipts, a framed and full logo. It appears to be showing the full logo but sliced at the edges. Doesn't look too good

@k_atie @Do you know if there is an update on this? Just the logo looks a bit rubbish as it is and we want to make sure we portray our business in the best visual way. Many thanks

Hi @doc_choc, very sorry that there has been no movement on this ticket yet.

I have requested that it be reassigned and looked at ASAP! We definitely want to have everything looking as it should be.

Hi @doc_choc! Just stepping in for Breffni here. Our team is still looking into this for you.

One thing they have said is that they have noticed, on your loyalty page on your Square Online site, you have the "join the loyalty club" button set to this URL.

They have suggested changing this to the online marketing URL which will not only let your customers signup, it will ensure that your customer will see the full logo.

We're still investigating why the logo is being cut in the original URL, but the above steps are your best bet at showing the logo until we get to the bottom of this.

Hi @k_atie @Breffni , thank you both for the help and assistance you are providing it's much appreciated.

The reason we are using the original link, the one that does not show logo correctly is that we wish to sign people up at the POS to loyalty and collect their email address for direct marketing at the same time. We use this link in the shop as it its the only means of doing so with the lowest obstacles to the signup process (the current embedded form would be perfect but it only captures mobile number for loyalty, not email addresses at the same time on the same screen). While the link you sent through is good, however requires customers signing up in the shop to enter their mobile number which is fine, but then a verification code which is sent to their mobile which they then have to enter in to the iPad, then back to the iPad to enter a name and email address, which is optional. So a far from easy signup process to just capture their mobile and email. But I do appreciate your efforts with this though. I'm hoping there is a neater POS signup process being worked on somewhere to enable loyalty signup and email address collection at the same time, on the same screen embedded.

I think my biggest issue is not the loyalty signup up the fact we can not use loyalty signup as an opportunity to capture the customer email addresses, which for any online retailer is a massive bonus (we can really drive online sales with an email address). We want to use the fact we see lots of customers, but want to give them the benefits of loyalty while being able to market to them via email/newsletters. But signup up and contact information collection has to be quick and easy for the team at the POS.

But a BIG thank you for trying! 🙂

No problem @doc_choc, of course, I totally understand the frustration of not having a feature you've been waiting a while for. Hopefully, it'll be something made available to you and all of our Sellers soon.

I nudged the ticket again, but there hasn't been any more movement on it yet. I'll let you know once there is!

Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime. 😊

Hey @doc_choc. Have you made sure that your logo meets the following requirements? This might be the reason why it's a bit off on the loyalty sign-up page:

  • PNG, GIF or JPG file
  • Square in dimension – between 280 × 280 pixels and 1000 × 1000 pixels

For profile images:

  • Either a PNG or JPG file
  • 2328 pixels x 1144 pixels – larger files will produce the best results as long as they’re under 500 kb

Do let me know if they do correspond to the requirements above. If they do, I'll have another look into why the full logo isn't being shown.

Yes they comply with the specification. The funny thing is if you delete the logo, it's still visible.

It will make the signup look professional and a lot tidier. First impressions last as they say.

Thank.you 😊
