Why do I see the error message, "Your Google Apps Free Trial Is Overdue"?
Hello all. I just logged into my square to work on my website. I see a message in a box that says "Your Google Apps Free Trial Is Overdue" Update your billing information......
I have looked everywhere in square everything is paid and I know my card on file is good. My google workspace says my domains and everything is active. Its not giving me any options to pay anything anywhere.
Has anyone seen this?

Hi @kmurphy418. You said that this error message is popping up on your Square Dashboard? If so, could you take a screen shot and post it in a reply here? You can attach a photo/screenshot using the little camera icon at the top of the reply box toolbar. This sounds like you might need to be sure that your actual Google Workspace free trial has been upgraded after the free 30day trial, but I can’t be sure. Also it would be very odd if Square was displaying this message since it is a Google issue.

You’ll see something like the toolbar in the screenshot below. Click on the icon I have circled. Then you can choose photos from your library. I said the camera icon earlier, which was wrong. My bad.

Do you recall setting up the Google Workspace email trial when you registered your domain name? I can see that you definitely have a customized email, and the trial ended on 2/20/24.
You can view/renew the service by navigating to your Square Online dashboard, then click Website > Domains > Manage > Manage Email

I do see that and Ive searced all over to find how to pay it and I cant find where to handle that. Thats the problem. Google workspace says its Active doesnt say anything about payment.

Gotcha! Sorry for the confusion here. I'm having trouble finding this too! 🤨
I recommend reaching out to direct support for assistance. A rep will be able to process a manual charge, or move the service over to Google directly where you would manage your billing for the workspace email.
If the service is active, and you are not having any interruptions, it's possible it's a glitch with the dashboard notification. If that is the case, the rep can escalate a support case to engineers to alert them of the discrepancy.

Yea Ive looked at everything. Even google workspace help says billing isnt set up but when I click to set it up it kicks me back to square so I have no idea. Ill try support. Thank you
