Why aren't we able to use coupons and discounts for appointments online for customer use?

I was trying to do a summer sale for my customers when I realize that if they try to book it online, they were unable to use the coupon code or any discounts. The only way for them to use it would be to call or come into my salon studio. It would be great if we could add coupons and discounts for online booking appointments as well as for physical items.
