When I click on item it asks for price not type?

I’m new to square, when I click on burrito in my menu it doesn’t ask what flavor it just asks for a price, I’ve added flavors already. How do I fix this?

When this happens you can look at your particular item's description in the Square Dashboard and make sure the Point of Sale Behavior isn't set to "automatically add item to check".  You will want this setting to be off for every item that has Modifiers or Variations.
