Sending out text messages to loyalty customers

Just recently made the switch from Fivestars loyalty to Square. I'm attempting to send out a coupon via text. Square is only letting me send a text to customers who have since been in store and opted into text messaging. I have a very large database of customers who I have previously been able to text coupons to but since the switch they haven't came into the store to opt in to Square's text messaging. 

 

Is there a way that I can somehow still reach these customers?  I need to be able to send the coupon to all of my customers who have in the past been able to receive texts.

 

Unfortunately I didn't realize that switch to Square from Fivestars would loose a lot of the options I've had in the past to reach my customers.
