Is Square compatable with a Revvl 5G Android phone?

Hello...I am a new square member and received what I thought would be a usable card reader.  Unfortunately, it doesn't fit in my phone jack and support doesn't have my phone as an approved phone.  Has anyone tried the contactless reader with a Revvl 5G phone?  Thanks so much!

We test as many devices as we can - you can confirm device compatibility before purchasing hardware by looking for your device here.- if the device is not listed here, that means we haven't tested it, and cannot guarantee compatibility. The Square Reader for contactless and chip is a great option, as it connects to your device via Bluetooth.

There are 2 different Free readers, one is for Apple Lightening connectors and the other is a 3.5 mm Headphone jack which is the standard size for headphones.  Alot of phone are no longer having a Headphone port for the Bluetooth headphones.  As JJ said most people use the Bluetooth for Tap and Pay or reading a Chip card.  The headphone free ones only read the Magnetic strip on a cc.  As for working with your device, I only use Galaxy phones and would have no idea about your device.  I also use the Ipad in my Square Stands which agian does not help.  You might be able to go to Best Buy and ask them since they sell square hardware and cell phones. Or maybe see if they can connect a disply Square reader to test for you?
