How to Indicate Invoice Payment Outside Square, via Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App?

Hello, is there a way to mark an invoice as paid if a client decides to pay outside of square, using a different platform such as zelle, venmo and cash app?

Greetings to the Community!

Certainly, you can include a payment for an invoice that was settled outside of Square for documentation purposes.

To do so, log in to your Square Dashboard, locate the three dots on the right side of the invoice, and choose the option to add payment. Then, select Record Payment and specify the payment method.

Right now only Cash, CHeck, Square point of service can there be another added so that way its easy to run payment method reports?

@Sax_therapyst, Currently, you can't add another payment method for reports. You have the option to choose "Other" and specify the payment form in the "Notes" section. However, it will still be categorized as "Other" in your reports.
