You’re probably not doing anything wrong. At the top of the screen where you entered your bank account information, it says this:
Your funds will only be transferred into a verified bank account. Verification usually takes a few minutes, but for some banks can take up to 4 business days.
Square’s Help Article on the subject which was available as a link on the setup screen says:
The entire verification process can take up to 4 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Square isn’t able to expedite the process.
If it has been longer than that, you might want to check here to see if there is any further information. If not, you can contact Square’s Customer Success Advocates here to have them do some research for you after 4 business days have passed.
