Can I accept payment without a terminal?

We provide a service and don't sell anything, and we do not provide the service on site of sale. Can we accept Square cash payments without any terminal or presence of the payor/customer?

You can use Virtual Terminal which is an option on the online Dashboard for manually entering payments or Invoicing by sending your customers an invoice they pay themselves via email. 

Up to you whichever would work best for your business. Invoices cost a little less in fees and you can attach PDF files to it for contracts/recordkeeping.
