Buy online, pick up in person at an event?

I manage merchandise sales for a touring musical act.  In the past, we had a "virtual merch table" for attendees --->  a QR code on the show program linked to a landing page of products where customers can buy from our web store and pick up at our merch table at the event.

Recently, we moved to  Woo Commerce and I'm trying to re-create this very successful system.

Can something similar be created using tools available through square?

With regards to sites on Wordpress/Woo then Square is simply the payments processor. You’d need to look into the Woo support and plugins to see what’s available and test it out. 

Alternatively the Square online store does this really well with orders for collection with a lot of options but the best bit being that the customer get an SMS and email when the order is marked as ready within the Square app.

Thank you for that info!  Yes, I figured that if I wanted to recreate that system, I'd need to do so through Woo but I thought -  why re-invent the wheel if Square already has a similar tool? 

Sounds like the Square online store might be an option.  Where can I learn more about how that works?

@invincibleczars if you log into your square dashboard then on the left menu there is the online button. That’ll walk you through the setup for the free online store - IMO that’s the best way to see what it can do and how. If you think it’ll work then you’re all set, if it doesn’t seem right then you can leave it dormant with no issue or cost.
