How to get a notification from a digital sale
I've had square for almost a year and haven't used it - just one digital product is up.
I didn't realize for digital products (I'm trying to sell PDFs) you have to manually send them via email... I only just found that I made my first sale A YEAR AGO, and that customer never got their PDF sent! I had no notification, no way of knowing - HOW do you get notified so you can send customers their digital products?

Yikes!
Yes this is one area where Square fell short on automating the delivery of digital products.
To get the email notifications of sales go into your Square Online Site -> Settings -> Notifications and toggle on New Order Emails (you can add multiple emails to get notified.
I would also go into your Square Dashboard -> Account & Settings -> Business Information -> Email Notifications and then scroll down to transactional emails and toggle on "per payment"
