How do you upgrade from the free plan to plus?

I set up a free plan in about July; however, I haven't been using the account. Now the season has picked up and I want to upgrade from free to plus, but I'm not seeing any option when I navigate to Account & Settings > Pricing & Subscriptions.

Please help...

The upgrade options available to you, will be dependent on the country in which you activated your account. While the Square app is available for free in most countries, Premium and Plus versions of our subscriptions are currently only available in countries where card processing is supported. At the moment, card payment acceptance with the Square app is limited to the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, France and Spain.


So that I can look into the options available to you, could you let me know which country you activated your account in, and which Point of Sale solution you wanted to upgrade? Are you using the free version of Square Online, or Square Appointments for example?


If you could also let me know which features of the Plus plan you’re interested in, I’d be happy to suggest any possible workarounds that come to mind, if an upgrade path isn’t available to you.

I guess that's the reason why I'm not seeing options.

I activated the free plan of Square Online in Barbados.

Are there any workarounds?

That's correct. Unfortunately, not all of our features and upgrade options are available in countries where we don't currently support payment processing. So, at this time I wouldn’t be able to offer a workaround.


We do hope to expand into new territories in the future though @emorrogold, and we will announce any developments on that here in the Square Community.
