HI, I just got the new stand with the customer facing screen and swiper. I went to load a gift card and it read "swipe or enter the gift card" like it usually does, but there is nowhere on the retail side of it to swipe and it doesn't work on the customer side. I had to enter the card number by hand. We deal with WAY to many gift cards to be having to do this every time. Thoughts?

I have seen others post that it does swipe on the customer facing device.

Correct, there is no where to swipe on the Employee side, you have to swipe on the Customer side - not a big deal though, you can either reach over or ask the customer to swipe.
The swiping should definitely work at this point - make sure your Register is fully updated - reboot your register, go into settings, General, and Scroll down and click on About This Register, and the first section should say Software Update - go through those steps, reboot the register as needed, and the swiping should work!
