So I'm using Square payroll and the timecards. When I import tips.hours it brings over the hours correct, but the tips are ALWAYS wrong. I am auditing the whole week manualy each time and it's getting ridiculous.
Anyway, the tips are pooled by the workday, not pay period so it should pool correctly. What appears to be happening is that since my staff leaves after midnight sometimes and tabs are often settled after midnight, the tips are going on the next day (different staff).
My workday settings are already configured to start at 4am (well after close/leave) and it doesn't change anything. This problem ALSO affects my sales reporting. it seems all reporting stops at midnight regardless of settings.
Is there a fix or is this just out of Square's capability?

Eek, give our Payroll Team a call so they can comb through your Workday and Tip settings from the Timecards tab.
