why not allow goodle pixel slate

I have the square app installed on my Google pixel slate tablet. It works just as it should. When I start up my slate the data from the app auto updates. The only issue I have is I can't pair it because it's not a supported device. I don't use apple products and don't plan on using them. I'm suggesting that the Google slate be added to the supported devices. Thanks
