square POS invoice processing

Wondering if anyone else has this problem of if its a glitch in my system.  I am a one man show, so i handle all my invoice processing  on one day.  when I process (  enter payment info) an open invoice, it gives me the options to:  print receipt or  new sale, when i click on new sale it leaves me on the checkout page.  i cannot then select and go back into  invoices until i physically go into another place on the menu such as  customers, balance, transactions, etc and then  select invoices.  its a major pain in the ass when i am trying to  process all my invoices. 

 

Is this  normal for everyone or just a glitch in my system?

 

i  reported it months ago, at that time i had a third option to view customer, so it the same customer had multiple  invoices, i could attempt to  processes another one of theirs, but when i would try and enter the payment info the machine would glitch out and reboot itself.    Customer service had me  do a full  reset of the system and a software  update, that removed the  option to  view customer, but i still have to deal with the  menu dance to process more than one invoice at a time.

 

i was told  its being looked into, like 3 months ago... i feel like i got a  defective machine, but i want to make sure thats the case before i escalate the situation.   Thanks!
