We utilize Square Point of Sale system. The Square system allows you to track inventory at a single location. Each of our items has been assigned a SKU number and is bar coded, for ease of check-out

Thank you but I have a small home business with a lot of inventory your suggestion may be good for a larger company but too complicated for a small home business

Hey @gypsy50 - What @nodrogfarms is referring to is the basic inventory management that is included for free with your Square Point of Sale account. You don't have to use SKUs or bar codes to track your items if it's not needed for your business, but the option is there. You can learn more about what you can do with it at Track your Square Inventory. Were there certain features that you were looking for that the basics would not cover?

One of my issues is not all of my sales are credit card so they dont all go thru my square account. I would need to input all of my item #s and descriptions and retail price  & whosale price. Sorry but as I said I am not tech smart. I love my square and the reports it gives me and am learning more every day. I do fairs and bazaars and other events to sell my product. I would love to learn more  but this inventory thing seems overwhelming

You know you can track all your cash sales on square as well. Get square's bar code reader and have it all set up on your ipad with one program that does it all. To learn how to upload your current item inventory simply go to this link. https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5153. Also, square recently launched Square for retail which gives you a lot more power but it maybe too pricey. You can try to see if any inventory app in Square apps is something you would like to try.
