I have a food truck and we are starting to do pre-orders for scheduled pickup one day a week. We are also opening for "regular" service on different days. I want to use online ordering for both. Here's what I was thinking:
- 2 locations, 1 mobile and 1 fixed
- each one will have different items available (some potential overlap, but mostly separate)
- Fixed location will offer scheduled pickup, Mobile will offer ASAP only.
- Location choice should come first in order flow (not last), so customers first choose pre-order/scheduled pickup or "get it here, ASAP" and then choose from available items
- Ideally, separate URLs for each location to make that choice even easier for the customer
I thought I could do this with multiple locations but reading these threads I'm not sure if I might need to set up a whole new account instead. Which is a pain for other reasons, like having to maintain item libraries, inventory and financial info separately.

Hi @twist Thanks for reaching out! Right now you cannot have two separate URLs for each location, but you can have separate pickup settings for each location as you were originally wanting. Unfortunately, we cannot have the location selection move, but you can always put banners up in each location's online store to help explain to customers what curbside settings you want on each location.
If you absolutely want to have two separate URLs, then yes, you would need to create a second account, but I don't recommend that if you want to track inventory and sales all in the same place.
Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
