Hi there, @janjwoodables and @DinaLRosenberg,

We're sorry to hear that is happening! Is it slow on certain pages or all pages are running slow? Has it been happening all day or just recently?

Thanks! @janjwoodables,

Is it even better today, the same, or worse?

Currently we are using Firefox Version 115.02 (64 bit), not seeing any issues - we have speeds as 25/10 and 250/25 - two different providers as we have two locations - have not experienced any slow loading speeds.  There can be other things going on that can affect loading speeds.  One has to look at everything for a better analysis.  Below are some thoughts from personal experiences.

Before singling out Square as your issue - have you run any speed tests and verified that your hardware is functioning as intended - there are several factors that can affect your internet speed.  One has to do their homework first - then go from there.

Here are some common issues that can impact your internet connection:

* Network congestion: If many users in your area are accessing the internet simultaneously, it can cause congestion on the network, leading to slower speeds for everyone.

* Distance from the network infrastructure: The farther you are from the network's central office or the nearest cell tower (in the case of wireless connections), the weaker your signal may be, resulting in slower speeds.

* Poor Wi-Fi signal: If you are using a Wi-Fi connection, your internet speed can be affected by the distance between your device and the router, as well as by physical obstacles such as walls, furniture, or other electronic devices that may interfere with the signal.

* Outdated hardware: If your modem, router, or network interface card is outdated or not functioning properly, it can limit your internet speed. Upgrading to newer equipment may help improve your connection.

* Bandwidth limitations: Some internet service providers (ISPs) impose bandwidth limits or data caps, which can throttle your speeds if you exceed the allocated amount of data.

* Malware or viruses:  Malicious software on your computer or network can consume bandwidth and slow down your internet speed. Regularly running antivirus scans can help detect and remove such threats.

* Background processes and downloads: Other applications or devices on your network consuming significant bandwidth can affect your internet speed. Check for any background downloads, streaming services, or large file transfers that may be using up your bandwidth.

* Peak usage times:  Internet speeds can be slower during peak usage times, such as evenings when many people are streaming videos or playing online games.

* ISP limitations:  Your internet service provider may impose speed restrictions based on your service plan. It's worth checking if you are getting the speeds you are paying for.

* Faulty wiring or connections: Damaged or poorly installed cables, phone lines, or coaxial connections can degrade your internet speed. Ensure that all your connections are secure and in good condition.  If you experience persistent slow internet speeds, it's recommended to contact your ISP's customer support, as they can help diagnose and resolve specific issues related to your connection.

Of course the above is just from personal experience however, we have run into some issues with our Router Firmware - all it took was an update and like magic, everything worked for what services we were paying for ... just something to consider.

It is VERY slow, VERY often. I have been on Square for 8 years now and the main page is still incredibly slow. I have Fiber and 250 mb download(confirmed) and still, like today, the dashboard is taking more than 7 or 8 minutes to come up.
