There is a difference between the 2 apps in "payment types" accepted. On the iPhone there is a choice for "Card on File" where you can scroll thru your customers and choose one. This choice is not on the iPad. I have updated both apps just to be sure and they are different in this respect. It's a very nice feature on the iPhone . . . just like using the Virtual Terminal on a PC. Would be nice to see it on the iPad app as well. Thank you

I realize that it's not showing up as an option when it comes to payment methods from your screenshot.
Just to be clear here, when you select charge in checkout, you do not see card on file as an option, correct?
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app when you don't have any pending payments from offline mode?
Let me know! I want to get this figured out.

Hi there, @KParent 👋 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community! Thanks for taking the time to post your question.
Are you referring to the option to choose which payment method the customer will use in completing a transaction on the Point of Sale app? If so, you can edit your payment types available within the Settings Tab of the POS app.
It sounds like this option is toggled off on the iPad.

This does not resolve the issue. I’m very familiar with the settings and payment types. In payment types on the iPad “customer card on file” does not appear. I’d be happy to send you a screen shot if you’d like.

This is the screen shot from my iPad. That is the extent of the entire list. Scrolling doesn’t reveal anything more than this.

That’s right. It’s not showing up as an option. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Thanks for the suggestion … I hadn’t thought of that 🙂
