That's the proverbial million-dollar question.
I don't know what you're selling but getting the word out by sharing your site or items on local Facebook groups, getting a Facebook and Instagram account set up, and promoting that. You can use Facebook ads to push it in front of more people.
The old-fashioned word of mouth is still one of the biggest drivers so the more customers you serve that enjoy your company and its items the more they will tell others about it. participate in local vendor shows, or farmer's markets to help get the product in front of people.

Hi Ericasettles87,
Probably the most difficult question to answer for any of us as VanKalkerFarms pointed out. What works for some does not work for others. If you can get a handle on your demographics - then you can narrow down your marketing options. Bottom line, do you have a particular age group or type of customer you want to target or just anyone with a credit card. We like anyone with a credit card but, it's not a perfect scenario for sure - every customer is different and sometimes purchases are simply spur of the moment - be backs as we call them are just an excuse to move on - 99% really don't come back. Word of mouth is your best friend as suggested by VanKalkerFarms and it doesn't cost you anything. Friends telling friends works. We started out doing local Farmers Markets - not sure why they were called Farmers Market as there were really no Farmers (with one exception) - most vendors were selling either food or art or simply other things. We've always had an online present however, just because you have an online shop does not guarantee sales. Suggest doing the usual things - advertise in your local paper, use the social media sites along with your website (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Flicker, Vimeo, YouTube, Yep, etc.). Even selling through other sources may work for you but, there are costs that you need to consider - if your profit margin works in your favor, then give it try.
Best JK

Word of mouth is the best! Also providing incentives. Check out Squares Loyalty program. I test drove a loyalty program with punch cards first to see how receptive customers were and had great feedback. The electronic loyalty program saves me so much time and is worth the expense. I also do marketing through Square with emails and text messages. I give birthday coupons. Staying relevant and present is a must!
