get your terminal online or through a rep?

we just posted online about a restaurant we're opening soon. soon after posting, someone sent us an email asking if we'd considered using square.

we've been square users for quite some time as part of our presence at a local farmers and art  markets. and we are indeed planing to get their POS terminal for the brick and mortar location.

my question(s) is this:
1. does square have field reps? is this a legit solicitation?
2. does it benefit me in any way to go though a rep VS just ordering a terminal online myself?
