Will the Square Terminal work well with Bluetooth from an iPhone?

I have an iPhone with unlimited data and want to run the Square Terminal off of it using Bluetooth. Is this reliable?

You can use your mobile hot spot and create a WiFi network for your Square Terminal.  This is reliable.  I don't believe that you can transfer data between the two via Bluetooth.

Thank you. I work mainly in homes with no internet but need to accept credit cards. It sounds like using my phone as a hot spot is the best option. Are there other options I am missing the will allow me to use the Square Terminal in this way?

As long as you have your phone setup to create a Wi-Fi network and connect your Terminal to it you will have no issues using it just like it was its own device connected directly to the net.  I use mine all of the time at remote locations and have had no issues with it.
