Just recently (last day or two), the Square web page login doesn't trigger the Safari Password Manager so that it will automatically enter the user name and password into the login screen - plus, I am also being presented with the "I'm not a Robot" challenge.
Not sure if this is something new with some setting on my Mac or a security change at Square. Is anybody else experiencing this change?

This worked for me! However, I don't think I had to clear the cache. I cleared the history, and then I went to Safari-->Preferences-->Privacy-->Manage Website Data-->then deleted the SquareUp.com cookie (maybe this is the cache?). Then restarted Safari. Anyways, it seemed to work. I don't have too much faith in it lasting, but hopefully this workflow solves the problem for others. Next time it happens I will start with deleting the squareup.com cookie.

To follow up on my original post - FOOTHILLSPETRES and 101LAKEFUN suggestions were able to resolve the issue for me. In my case, clearing all history wasn't enough but when I went in and cleared all website data for squareup.com, that took care of things. I also adjusted some of the website settings and allowed things like popups but not sure if that had any effect.
For clarification to all - I am running a Mac with Safari 15.3.

Just tried talking to Square about it and the person said their advanced tech team wasn't aware of the issue. Spoke with Apple and it didn't seem to be something on their end either. I did clear my history/cache and deleted my login info in Safari Preferences and Passwords and re-added it and it seems to be working just fine, but hoping it lasts and keeps working.

Follow up. Ever since i cleared my cache in safari and deleted the login for square in safari preferences and passwords and readied it, it’s been working great and things are auto-populating correctly.

To chime in, I also have noticed some security improvements with a captcha on occasion and the newer log in page. I think these are things square is doing to protect our seller accounts from phishing and typical malicious activity. I would say the cache clearing fixes these issues because the password managers/autofill just weren't realizing the new password field is different than the old one.
