Why can you still order out of stock products??

I is a bit hard to understand why that you can still order on your devices the product you have none of in your invintory.

It should be set up so that when you go to add your out of stock item it should pop up and say:

(Sorry Insignificant amount of stock to add please reaload to complete)

Hi there. 

I can see how this can be confusing, however this is intended behavior. 

The thinking here was that if a store does not keep their quantity levels accurate (i.e. forgets to update the amount after they receive goods or a customer returns an item during business hours), we don't want to block your sales if the quantity level goes below 0 on Square, but you actually have the item in stock.

When I go through the checkout process, all inventory items are available for purchase, even if they're out of stock. Is it possible for items to automatically be removed from purchase options, when the inventory quantity reaches zero?
