Using Square POS at Holiday Markets

HI

I am selling at a popup Holiday Market where there is no electricity.

I know I can process payments on my phone ( which is sometimes cumbersome)'but is there a way I can use my Square POS with a hot spot wifi?

Any other best practice ideas?

All i do is have a tablet running a hotspot and when the internet gets slow or goes off, I just tell my Square Stand to connect to Tablet Hotspot not the normal wifi.  All works fine depending on your cells signal.

You can use other Square products through your Hotspot, I do this all the time when my internet drops.  I use the Square stand through the hotspot, so you should be able to do this with a terminal or other battery device since you will not have electricity.

1 other thing set it all up before you go to the market, make sure you can enable it when you get there quickly or have them connected before setting up in case anyone trys to purchase from you before your fully setup.   🙂
