Transaction Skipping Signature Dec 2019

Since Square price increase and 10cent increase my transactions Skip the signature even with settings set for signature. I know, it's not required but I still prefer a signature from my customers. Anybody else experience this, issue. Thanks

Hi @Genekeeley!

 

This is a change being rolled out to be in alignment with the card issuing companies and doesn't have to do with the pricing change.

 

Moving forward- if customers with debit cards have their preferences set to No Signature with their card issuing company, it will override the signature settings within Point of Sale.

 

I definitely understand preferring that signature and there still will be one required if they don't have it set with their card issuer to not have one.

Up until a few days ago, my app required a signature for every transaction.  I set it up this way.  Now, it is not asking for a signature half the time even though the settings still say "Require a signature" for EVERY transaction.
