Tax for individual personal use

I am using Square for personal use only, and not for business use for Craft Fairs and Garage Sales in my community. The items I sell will be anywhere from $1 to $10.  Do I still have to charge sales tax for this??

Hey DNicastro,

Square and any other credit card processor is intended for business use - although your intentions are for personal use, at some point you may be accountable for your sales, just something to consider.  Once you reach a certain threshold in sales, those sales have to be reported by the cc processor, reference the IRS 1099 info - there's some starter info here.
