Sell services in retail app

We sell both physical items and services in store and the retail app on the ipad doesn't allow you to add services to the cart. This really needs to be a feature, as there would be plenty of other businesses like ours that sell both products and services at the same time. Please add this feature to the retail app. The Android POS app can do it, why can't the ipad retail app do it too....

Thanks for getting in touch and leaving this feedback. I've passed it forward to our Retail team, I can see how it'd be handy to be able to process products and services from within the same app! I'll update this thread to let you know if this changes in the future.

We continue to track this feature request for Square for Retail and will be sure to update you in this thread once we have more news to share on this.

In the meantime, the only real workaround we can suggest would be to have two separate POS devices, one logged into Square for Retail and the other into Square Point of Sale. It's not an elegant workaround at all but if you were really struggling with the current software limitations, this may be an option for you.
