Resources for Small Business Owners: Organizations that can help your business grow
As a small business owner you may find yourself faced with a new challenge every day. We’ve put together a list of organizations that can provide support and guidance every step of the way!
U.S. Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is a federal agency dedicated to small businesses. The SBA provides training courses and webinars and hosts events and workshops across the country on a variety of business topics such as starting a business, preparing a business plan, and how to get a business loan. The SBA also provides counseling for small businesses, information about federal contracting, and access to capital. This organization is an advocate for small business interests and a great resource for any small business owner.

Association of Women’s Business Centers
Association of Women’s Business Centers (AWBC) provides business training and education, mentoring programs, and fundraising resources for women. Its aim is to provide entrepreneurial opportunities to women. With a network of more than 100 Women’s Business Centers you can find a center near you.

Small Business Development Centers
Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) offer free business consulting and training for small businesses. Training is provided (at cost) on a variety of topics including business planning, marketing, and how to access capital for your small business. These centers are hosted by different organizations including universities, colleges, and private partners, and are funded in part by U.S. Congress through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration. SCORE
SCORE is a resource partner of the SBA that works to foster small business communities through mentoring and education. SCORE provides free workshops, webinars, mentorning, on-demand classes on many small business topics, from launching a new business to growing and managing an existing business.

Veterans Business Outreach Centers
Veterans Business Outreach Centers are an SBA program that supports transitioning service members, veterans, National Guard & Reserve members, and military spouses who want to start or grow a small business. These centers offer training for small business owners, including how to develop a business plan, a feasibility analysis for your business, and mentorships.
There are currently 22 organizations serving as Veterans Business Outreach Centers. Visit the SBA’s website to find a center near you.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce
Your local Chamber of Commerce is always a great resource when you’re seeking information to grow and manage your business. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosts events and runs programs for businesses of all sizes.

Thanks @GlassJudy, that's a great suggestion! I just added another thread about chambers of commerce but I'm sure there are a lot of state-specific resources out there. I'll see if I can put together a post that might help!
