Hi why is the new chip reader $%0 when the other readers are free? As a,small business i cant afford

Thanks for writing in. We know you're a small business owner and have tried to make our reader as affordable as possible.
Processing chip cards requires sophisticated technology that goes beyond the capability of magstripe readers. Most chip card and contactless readers cost $100 or more.
While I know the cost seems high, our reader is actually the most affordable on the market.
Hope that explains things a bit.
