Online Orders Junk History

I have a lit of junk history of online orders that i am supposed to cleanup. When i do mark them as completed, the customer calls me stating that he didnt order food on the day of history cleanup!!! This causing confusion. Why are you sending message to customers for old orders in history when doing the cleanup?!!!

@ZiadHage While you are clearing your history, you could turn off customer notifications.  Just do this at a time when you are closed so that you don’t impact normal operations.

 

Go here and turn off text message alerts while you are clearing out the old stuff —

 

Online

Email & Text Alerts

Scroll to the bottom and turn off Text Message Alerts

 

Do your clearing, then turn it back on.

 

In Square’s defense, they don’t know that you aren’t just now completing orders.  Retail folks, for example, take days sometimes to complete orders.  So what you are experiencing is an anomaly.

Why dont we have one button to clear all history?!! Why do i have to do it one at a time?! It is just waste of time.

I’m sorry to have wasted your time with a suggestion to help you get this task done.  No, it was not a perfect solution, but it should have helped you stop the annoying messages to customers.
