Once again a question about CAS 2000 Jr. scale integration into the Square App Posted 10/6/2017

Ok, so this question has a history that I am not sure how far it goes back. 

Square even suggest that owners that need to use a scale us a particular one, the CAS 2000 Jr. scale.

So is there ANYTHING in the works to integrate the CAS 2000 Jr. scale into the Square POS?

After all, you suggest that we use it!

Please give us a straight answer. Not this "Currently you’re unable to fully integrate scales with the Square app to price items by weight. This is a popular feature request, so we’ll be sure to make an announcement if it becomes available." Since there is no date associated with the above posted verbage. This statement could be 1-5 years old.

I wouldn't wait for this feature.  It is very specific to your business and Square is very broad in what it offers.  Pos systems with this functionality seem to have a nice monthly price tag to them too.  

Square suggests the CAS 2000 Jr. Scale because you can program it to display a price based on the weight so you can enter the price into the Square app, not because it might connect to Square in the future.  They are just giving you an option so you can use Square if you choose.

I am sure it is a popular request but in the scale of things, it may only be a small percentage of Squares users.
