New Update 10/28 12pm.
I want to first start by saying there have been amazing updates the last few weeks to make it easier on us while using the register.
Unfortunately a new update went live today at 12pm that does not "blank" out the customers screen when you go to their profile/account. I am not sure why there was an update to customer profiles and the "viewing profile" process but it does not help us at all. Why the screen needs to be live for the customer while you are adding their name or checking their account for previous transactions is beyond me. Adding and subtracting points is an insane hassle now! Can someone please look into this! When you add points, it does not even update on the profile right away. You have to close the screen and go back to it. All stuff that did not have a SINGLE issue before. It was working seamlessly and now its set up to deter us again ๐

UPDATE on the Update:
We have had this "update" for 2 days and 1 hour.
I want to point out this random update to our customer profiles took away the list of items that they had previously bought this year. We now have to individually click each receipt to check what the customer has bought. My register screen has crashed twice looking at different receipts to find which previous items a customer had bought. It will blank out and restart the entire register.
Deterring us when nothing was wrong with this section of Square. Customer profiles were set up almost perfectly and now it deters us during our daily sales. Can someone help me understand how this update is supposed to help?

@nika Since this update we have lost all records of our past purchases for customers. The customer profile shows receipts from all of their purchases. When we click on these receipts it will open them and allow us to scroll but it will glitch our screen out when we exit out. It is something we can't prevent. In this past week, we have learned to look up stuff on their receipts and tell customers to wait a few because now our system will reset because we "accessed" their past purchases.
This is something we didn't even need an update for ๐ Can we get our "past items purchased in the last year" back on our customers profiles! Or please a reverse of this new "customer update".

@smokinparadise1 Our team is having a bit of trouble understanding exactly what is happening here. Could you possibly list out the steps you're taking that explain how you're running into the issue that you're experiencing?

I can walk through the entire steps of crashing the POS when checking customer receipts.
Step 1: On POS add a customer at the top right.
Step 2: Click their profile and then press "view full profile"
Step 3: Click a transaction/receipt. (Here you will notice no past items are visible anymore so you have to check customer receipts for past purchases)
Step 4: Click out of the transaction/ receipt and the bottom POS which the customer uses will freeze on "Waiting for Cashier"
Step 5: To clear out "waiting for cashier" you have to press a random item and press charge and it will crash the POS and restart it.
We just feel getting rid of "items purchased in the last year" is now deterring our business. The next day we magically got a "invoices category" for all our customers on their profile. I have never used an invoice so not sure why my customers have them.
