Name listed on payment

I am having a lot of trouble with my Square Account, since I don't know who paid what when. The person's name isn't listed with the payment. Therefore, this isn't really working for me. Can this be changed, so that, we can get the customers'/patients' names? I think that I might need to just do a bank credit card reader, if this can't be rectified.

If you have your customers information you could import their name, phone and email plus other information into your Customers in Square.   When the person goes to pay, you could in the top right of my Square Stand, I have Add Customer.  This is to Add a customer to the Transaction and searches your Current Customers.  As you start typing the Persons name, you start getting peoples names populating until you get to the current customer or a small list where you see the current customer.  Then when you go through your Transactions Detail Reports that persons name should be there so you know who paid for that transaction.  Since I do Retail in a vacation spot a lot of my customers are first time buyers or customers that buy 1 or 2 times a year in store.
