Multiple customers are having their credit card payments declined on online checkout! Help!
Our website has been working fine for months, now suddenly most of our customers are getting an error message at checkout "payment declined. Please try again". This has been happening for 2 days now! Square customer service told me this is a glitch and there is nothing to be done. Help!

It's not an error related to an item. It's not accepting payment generally.

Thanks for your replies to my issue! The square engineers determined that the error was because some new items we added yesterday haven't synced yet. They apologized and will send me an email once it is corrected. They also will credit $50 to our account to hep compensate for loss of sales. Total time on the phone today was 1 hr 12 min. Spent about that long on the phone yesterday too.
